Tailored training for professional caregivers
Dr. Cummings can work with directors and managers to craft a training session or program that addresses specific needs and specific employee roles. She has worked successfully to help nurses, CNAs, social workers, activity directors, and marketing representatives achieve a better understanding of the needs of persons with dementia and their families — and greatly improve care, programs and admissions. Dr. Cummings is also authorized to teach CEU credits and MEU credits for physicians, PAs, and nurse practitioners.

Webinars
Webinars provide a cost-effective way to offer training to both employees and family members. Dr. Cummings can develop webinar topics to address specific areas of a community’s operations or address the wide range of topics related to dementia care and aging.

Video Training
Dr. Cummings offers a package of 12 videos entitled “Becoming Dementia Aware.” The series is designed to give employees a thorough understanding of dementia, and upon completing the series with a passing grade, staff members will become Certified Dementia Caregivers.
